Snow fell Friday morning, starting at points north and west before falling on most of the Philadelphia region by midmorning.

"Even if it doesn't stick to the roads, it still can reduce visibility quite a bit if it's coming down at a recent rate and that in itself, plus the wet roads, causes issues during the morning rush," Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz said.

"There is a possibility that at the peak of this system that it could be coming down harder than just light snow for a period of time,” Glenn said.

The worst of the snow should be gone by late morning. Moving out of the Lehigh Valley around noon, Philly and the immediate suburbs by 1 p.m. and South Jersey and Delaware by 3 p.m.
