“I want children as soon as it happens”, Stephenie Kendrick, wife of Phillies pitcher Kyle Kendrick, told NBC Philadelphia Nonstop a few weeks back.
Well it sure did happen fast it seems. Married in November, the newlyweds are expecting.
Kyle, and former Survivor participant, Stephenie (LaGrossa), who were married during the off-season, are expecting their first child in September, according to the Daily News' Dan Gross.
On Tuesday, Stephenie shared with her Facebook friends that she was already three months into her pregnancy, according to Gross.
"Kyle and I are so HAPPY to announce that we are expecting:-)!!!! We are due September 8th and couldn't be happier! I feel great can't believe 3 months flew by already 6 more to go!!!"
The couple talked about kids during a dinner date with G-N Chang at the up and coming restaurant, TWEED for the NBC Philadelphia Nonstop show, The Scene. The shoot happened before the couple officially tied the knot.
During the shoot, Kyle told us that he would wait a year after marriage to have children. Guess that wasn’t completely true.
Wife, Stephenie quickly responded, “Why did you change your mind? That’s not the plan ladies and gentleman.”
