Four people are injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Wilmington.

The News Journal reports that a Volkswagen veered off of the 200 block of North Lincoln Street in the crash on Saturday about 5:30 p.m. The car hit an elderly man who was sitting in a chair on the sidewalk.
 
Officials say the 64-year-old man was taken to Christiana Hospital where he was admitted in stable condition. The man had head and back injuries.
 
Three other people were taken to hospitals for minor injuries.
