A teen and a security guard were killed in two separate shootings in Philadelphia over the weekend. NBC10’s Lili Zheng has the details. 

Police are investigating after a 30-year-old security guard at a bar at 53rd and Arch Streets was shot and killed in a altercation early Sunday. A man and woman were also injured in this incident, officials said.

PennDOT has begun a multimillion dollar improvement project on the bridges that carry Market Street over train rails, the Schuylkill River Trail and I-76. The project will cause lane closures through April 14, 2025.

Drivers are being cautioned that there will be intermittent lane closures along the Market Street Bridge between 30th Street and Chestnut Avenue for an improvement project starting Monday through April 14, 2025.
