Day 5 of the Occupy National Gathering was spent working on a "blueprint for a democratic future." The messages will be delivered to Wall Street when the occupiers leave Philadelphia Thursday morning for a 99-mile march to New York City.

On Day 3 of the National gathering, Occupy members set up camp at Franklin Square where they heard speeches on a number of social and economic concerns. A “protest for corporate accountability” during the afternoon targeted several Center City corporate business offices, including Verizon, Comcast and Fannie Mae, winding through Center City during the evening rush and stopping traffic.

Occupy groups from across the country arrived at Independence Mall on Saturday for Day 1 of their National Gathering. The event, which includes workshops and speakers, runs from now until the 4th of July when the group plans on staging a rally.
