Heavy black smoke and flames were seen following the crash, which happened near the Route 143 exit in Lenhartsville around 5:30 p.m.

Police said the initial investigation showed that traffic came to a sudden slow in the area, but one of the trucks failed to slow down in time and hit the car then another truck, causing a dangerous chain reaction collision.
The four trucks and white Mercedes sedan involved in the crash could be seen as SkyForce10 hovered above the wreckage.
Flames were still being put out more than an hour after the crash.
Police said the driver of the original truck suffered burns in the crash was taken to the hospital. There was no word on the extent of the man's injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Mercedes suffered minor injuries and the roadway remained closed for hours as police investigated and crews worked to clear the roadway.
