Zackery Jackson was born in Chester, Pa., and did all of his schooling there. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and spent 13 years as an aviation support equipment technician. In 2009, he left the Navy. His only desire was to attend culinary school. While traveling the world, Zack gained a different outlook of the many types of world cuisine. His goal is to manage a hotel with a restaurant combined, or someday own a bed and breakfast.

Tamara Williams has a teaching background, but has always enjoyed the kitchen, especially baking. When she was younger, she was always baking and was intrigued by pastry arts. She has since started to bake and design cakes. She decided to go back to school and better her skills. Her goal is to open a small bakery where she can showcase her skills.

Currently a cook at Philadelphia's Paradiso, Marietta is a native of the city. Food has been a big influence for her entire life. Her father was a European-trained chef, her grandmother has written a cookbook, and her mother is always cooking. After receiving her MBA in 2008, she worked at a financial planning firm, but felt out of place in an office setting. After leaving, she decided to follow her passions for food and cooking by going back to school. Her goal is to open restaurants in Philadelphia.

A manager at Gourmet Seafood in Philadelphia, Yun Jun is from South Korea and has only been in the U.S. for five years. His inspiration comes from Chef Edward Kwon, an executive chef at a seven-star hotel in Dubai. Chef Kwon’s passion and enthusiasm toward his career inspired Yun Jun to become a chef.

Tim Weik grew up in South Jersey. He ended up in Central Pennsylvania for about 12 years selling cars. He has always had a passion for cooking, specifically comfort foods. He decided to switch careers and go back to school to become a professional chef. His goal is to become a restaurateur.
