A young girl is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in King of Prussia today.

Police say the girl was riding her bike on Flint Hill Road and 7th Street around 6:30 p.m. when she was struck by a car.

The girl, whose age was not released, was flown by chopper to a nearby hospital. While the severity of her injuries is unknown, she is expected to survive.

Investigators say that accident was not a hit and run and did not involve a DUI.

More details to come as the story develops.
