    An investigation is underway after a police officer shot at a suspect in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood. (Published Monday, Jul 21, 2014)

    A Philadelphia Police Officer fired his weapon Monday morning when investigating a man holding a gun in a car.

    Authorities responded to reports of a man with a weapon on the 1800 block of Sepviva Street in the city's Fishtown neighborhood around 6:50 a.m., according to officials.

    The man was taken into custody and police are investigating.

    No one was injured during the incident. It is unclear why the officer discharged his weapon.
