Father Charged With Assaulting 3-Month-Old Son: Cops

A Bensalem man was arrested and charged with allegedly assaulting his 3-month-old son after he admitted to police he could not stop the little boy from crying.

Kyle Hinkle, 25, was charged with Felony Aggravated Assault, Felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child and related charges.

Bensalem Police and Bucks County Child and Youth began investigating the alleged assault on October 12 after Aria Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia reported that had a 3-month-old boy was brought there with serious head injuries.

The baby was transported to Christopher’s Hospital for Children for further assessment and specialized treatment, according to authorities.

Hinkle is being held on $50,000 bail.
