Rittenhouse Square will shine Nov. 29 for its holiday tree lighting. The festivities begin at 5 pm and include ornament making, entertainment from Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, complimentary elf hats, and prize giveaways.

A fire truck visit from St. Nick will kick off the Holiday Treefest at the Bucks County Visitors Center on Nov. 22 at 5:30 pm. Residents are invited to participate in voting for their favorite decorated and enjoy the melodies of pianist Bob Egan. Santa will be available for pictures Nov. 27, Dec. 4, and Dec. 11 for a special pet pic with Santa.

Bristol Borough County rings in its 59th Holiday Tree Lighting on Nov. 25th. The annual ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm at the wharf. Welcome Santa on his sleigh, enjoy refreshments served, and allow joyous carolers to provide the Christmas spirit.

On Nov. 25 families are invited to come out and celebrate the holiday season at the Kennett Square Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting. Marching bands, dance groups, and festive floats are the start of the event at 6pm located at Kennett Square. Following the parade Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be available for pictures.

Following a Christmas Carol performance by the Marrie Madrigals and a dance performance by the Skippack Dance Centre, the township welcomes the holiday spirit on Nov. 26 at 6 pm at the Skippack Pike. Make sure to bring your cameras, Santa Claus arrives at 7 pm.

Starting at 6pm the annual Lansdale Tree Lighting will take place at Railroad Plaza on Dec. 2. North Penn High School Chorus will sing Christmas carols as refreshments are served. After St. Nick lights the tree families are encouraged to head over to the Santa House at the Lansdale Library.

On Dec. 2 residents are encouraged to gather around the township tree on Schauffele Plaza for its annual lighting. The ceremony begins at 6 pm with the carolers of Community of Faith. Those attending are encouraged to bring nonperishable items for those in need.
