Even some students learning virtually are getting a day off Thursday after inches of snow were dumped on much of the Philadelphia region. Philadelphia School District students, however, are expected to report for online learning.

With a major winter nor’easter hitting the Philadelphia region, hundreds of schools made changes to schedules on Thursday with some closing and others having delayed openings.
