The federally run online insurance portal for Pennsylvania that's newly open under President Barack Obama's signature health care law appears to be up and running.
Tuesday was to be the first day that people could see information on the 56 health plans available to Pennsylvanians, such as rates and networks, and start shopping.
Coverage under the plans begins Jan. 1.
Earlier in the day heavy traffic on the site had shut it down.
The website is healthcare.gov.
