How about LaDainian Tomlinson, Adrian Peterson and Brett Favre in the same offense?

Sounds like a nightmare for defensive coordinators, but the Vikings might make it reality. L.T. is visiting Minnesota on Thursday.

The Vikings are looking for a solid pass-catcher out of the backfield to lure Favre into playing quarterback for one more year.

The running back closed out nine seasons with the San Diego Chargers last month, when the team announced that he had been released.

L.T., who joined the team in 2001, was one of 53 players recognized as the greatest Chargers of all-time in a ceremony last season celebrating the team's 50th anniversary last season.

Tomlinson was due a $2 million bonus in early March if he stayed with the Chargers. But as his role diminished in a team that relied more and more on the passing game, it became obvious the Chargers would cut him loose.
