Tiger Woods is back on top of the golf world. Woods tied a PGA Tour record Monday with his eighth win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, notching a two-shot victory over Justin Rose, The Associated Press reported. Next up is the Masters in two weeks, where he’ll compete for his first win in five years. Woods, who lost his No. 1 ranking amid fallout from a 2009 cheating scandal and suffered to come back from leg injuries, has lately been on the upswing. Earlier this month, Woods announced he was dating ski star Lindsey Vonn, in part, by referencing his recent successes on the links. “This season has been great so far and I'm happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral,” he said. “Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn.” Vonn tweeted after his latest victory, "Number 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!"
