Motorists in Delaware are paying 5 cents more at the pump when compared with a week ago.
AAA Mid-Atlantic said Sunday in a weekly report that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Delaware was $2.35. That's compared to $2.30 a week ago.
Motorists in the region are paying $1.11 less per gallon than a year ago. At this time last year Delaware drivers were paying $3.46 per gallon.
The price of gas in the state is 6 cents below the national average of $2.41 per gallon.
