Arrest Made in Killing of City Leader's Grandchild

Police are accusing a 23-year-old man of firing a bullet during a street dispute that ended up killing the granddaughter of Harrisburg's City Council president.

The Patriot-News of Harrisburg reports that Michael Gelsinger is accused in the early Friday morning shooting that killed 18-year-old Tiana Dockens.

She's the granddaughter of City Council President Wanda Williams.

Gelsinger is charged with criminal homicide, conspiracy to commit criminal homicide and several other weapons and drug charges.

Police say he was on parole.

Police say a fight between Gelsinger and two other men led to a cross-fire of gunshots in front of Dockens' home.

Two other men are also facing charges in the case.

Court records didn't list a lawyer for Gelsinger, who was denied bail.
