Philadelphia police arrested one of the men who used a bicycle to escape after allegedly holding up a West Philly liquor store last week.

The same man was also suspected in a bar robbery.

Timothy Scott, 21, was arrested for his alleged role in the June 16 robbery of Caprice Bar at 5000 Market Street and June 17 robbery of the Wine and Spirits Store on the 4600 block of Lancaster Avenue.

Scott was one of three men who held up the Caprice Bar with an Uzi, said police. The suspects fled on foot in that case.

He was also named as one of two suspects who held up the liquor store at gunpoint and escaped on bikes, police said.

Luckily no one was injured in either robbery.

Scott was charged with two counts each of criminal conspiracy, robbery, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, weapons charges and other charges.

Police only linked Scott to two of six robberies of bars and liquor stores in the West Philly area last week.

No word on whether police knew the identities of the other two alleged bandits.
