The Flyers avoided potentially losing defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere to the Vegas Golden Knights prior to the expansion draft by re-signing him on Friday.
It's a multi-year deal. Agent Marc Levine could not be immediately reached.
Gostisbehere was a restricted free agent.
In the last two seasons, Gostisbehere has played in 140 games and has 24 goals and 85 points.
