The Central Detective Division is asking for the public's help to identify and locate a boozing burglar.
Surveillance video shows man drinking alcohol while trying to get into the cash register at Xian Cuisine Restaurant in Old City on Saturday, May 9. At 2:50 a.m. He broke through a rear brick wall to get into the restaurant at 120 Chestnut Street.
The owner walked in during the burglary and the two men got into a fight.
The man was able to escape and was last seen south on 2nd Street.
He's described by police as between 30-40 years old, 5' 6" to 5' 9" and having a thin build.
If you see the man, police say don't approach him, contact 911 immediately.
