NJ Transit Opens New Station Connectin River, AC Rail

A new train line connecting New Jersey Transit's River Line and Atlantic City Rail Line is ready to open. 

The $40 million station, which features a 200-foot-long platform along the River Line and two 300-foot-long platforms along the A.C. Line, was built with federal economic stimulus money.

The River Line runs between Camden and Trenton and the Atlantic City route goes from the Atlantic City Convention Center to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.

Federal, state and local officials will be on hand for today's opening.
