Pa. Farm Animals Covered in Paint

Vandals armed with spray paint targeted a horse and a goat

Police in Western Pennsylvania are investigating an odd case of vandalism.

A horse and a goat were spray painted over the weekend at a farm in Fairfield Township, Crawford County.

Farmer Tim Schlabach says he found his 10-year-old mare, Lily, covered with fluorescent yellow, orange and green paint early Saturday morning at the farm about 75 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Later, Schlabach found a male goat named Josh with green and yellow paint on its face. The animals were not injured.

State Police from Meadville say nearby road signs and mailboxes were also spray painted.

They have not made any arrests.
