James Benjamin Carter Jr. was found Tuesday outside the Philadelphia's 30th Street Station, police say

Authorities say an Uber driver from New Jersey who went missing last month after dropping off a fare in Philadelphia has been found dead in his SUV.

Philadelphia police say James Benjamin Carter Jr. was found Tuesday afternoon outside the city's 30th Street Station. Authorities say the death does not appear to be suspicious but remains under investigation, noting a cause of death has not been determined.

The 52-year-old Willingboro man was last seen Feb. 25 at his home. Around 3 p.m. that day, he headed out for an Uber shift.

Moments after dropping off a passenger around 5:15 p.m. that day in West Philadelphia, Carter deactivated the Uber app on his phone.

It's not clear how long Carter's body may have been in the SUV before it was found.
