Gunfire rang out outside a Philadelphia house party overnight leaving a man dead.
The victim had just left a house party on the 2900 block of W Edgely Street in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city around 2:40 a.m. when someone shot him in the head, said Philadelphia Police investigators on the scene.
Medics pronounced the 35-year-old dead a short time later.
Numerous people were in the nearby home where the party happened. Police spent the early hours of Sunday searching for clues about what led to the deadly shooting.
