Armed Robbery Caught on Video at ‘Good Times' Bar

A shotgun-toting man allegedly held up a Philadelphia bar last month and remained on the loose Monday night.

Police need the public's help to find the alleged armed robber who was caught on surveillance video at the Good Times Bar in the Carroll Park section of West Philly.

The robbery occurred just after midnight on Sept. 7.

On the video, the man is seen entering the bar at 5527 Lansdowne Ave. armed with a shotgun. He is seen ordering people inside the bar to empty their pockets and lie down on the floor.

The suspect took an unknown amount of cash and fled possibly in a white-colored van, according to police.

He is described as black male in his early 30s to mid 40s about 6-foot with a stocky build, wearing dark clothing, white gloves and dark shoes.

The same man is believed to be responsible for at least two other area bar robberies, detectives said.

Anyone who sees the suspect should call 9-1-1 and if you have information contact Philadelphia Police by calling 215-686-8477.
