A former Norristown, PA police officer was arrested June 19th on felony drug charges.
Police say 66-year old Jack Pennington was busted outside the Plymouth Meeting Mall while trying to buy drugs.
Officials in Montgomery County say they were tipped off in March that Pennington was involved in drug trafficking.
Authorities followed Pennington to the Plymouth Meeting Mall, where he was allegedly caught buying crystal meth.
Officials say he was driving a car with a Fraternal Order of Police license plate.
Several items, including drugs, cash and guns were seized from Pennington’s home and car.
Pennington faces a preliminary hearing on June 29th.
