A former Philadelphia police officer convicted of trying to steal heroin from a drug dealer last year will be sentenced today at 10 a.m.
30-year-old Robert Snyder faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison.
Yesterday at 2 p.m., 32-year-old James Venziale was sentenced to 42 months in federal prison.
In May of 2010, both men allegedly plotted to steal heroin from a drug dealer and resell the supply.
They pled guilty to the charges last February.
