Wrong-way Driver Causes Fiery Head-on Crash on Pennsylvania Highway; 2 Killed

Two people died in a crash in the southbound lanes of Route 378 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Authorities say a car going the wrong way on a Lehigh Valley highway crashed head-on into another vehicle, sparking a fiery crash that left two people dead.

The crash in the southbound lanes of Route 378 in Bethlehem in the area of 8th Avenue occurred around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Two people were pronounced dead on the scene. But it wasn't clear if they were in separate vehicles or if anyone else was hurt in the crash.

The southbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours but had reopened before Thursday morning's commute.
