Charges for Sister of NJ Hit-&-Run Suspect

Earlier this week Cherry Hill police charged a Berlin, N.J. woman with the hit-and-run death of a woman walking along Route 70.

On Tuesday, 25-year-old Elisha Pollosco's sister was arrested for allegedly hindering her sister's arrest by providing false info to police investigating a hit-and-run crash last Thursday that killed 25-year-old Binh Tsan two days later.

Gretchen Pollosco, 28, of Cherry Hill was arrested Tuesday and later released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled for a preliminary court hearing on Sept. 27.

Gretchen's sister Elisha was arrested Sunday afternoon on the 200 block of Cross Keys Road after police received a tip call regarding the location of a car they say was used in the accident. When they arrived they found a silver 2000 Pontiac Grand Am parked in the drive way with damage consistent with the accident.

The victim, Tsan of Runnemede, N.J., died from her injuries Saturday. Police say she was walking on the westbound side of Route 70 near Ranoldo Terrace last Thursday during her lunch break when she was allegedly struck by Pollosco's car.

Michael Medina, 25, was grazed by the car but was not injured in the accident, according to police.

Elisha Pollosco faces charges for leaving the scene of a deadly crash and was being held on $100,000 bail. Her license will be revoked and she faces 15 years in prison if found guilty.
