Authorities: Man Indicted in Dismemberment Murders

A man accused of fatally shooting two men in a parked car, cutting off their heads and hands and burying them in the woods in South Jersey has been indicted on several charges.

Those charges include two counts of felony murder.

Twenty-nine-year-old Yusuf Ibrahim of Jersey City also faces two counts each of murder, kidnapping, robbery and desecrating human remains in the 16-count indictment handed up Monday by a state grand jury.

He remains jailed in Hudson County on bail set at more than $3.5 million.

State authorities have said Ibrahim shot and killed 25-year-old Hanny Tawadros and 27-year-old Amgad Konds after he abducted them in February 2013.

The two victims were Egyptian nationals who were living in Jersey City.

Authorities allege he then buried their remains in a shallow grave behind a home in rural Buena Vista Township in Atlantic County.

It was not clear Monday if Ibrahim has retained an attorney.
