A fire erupted at an apartment complex last night in Whitehall Township, Lehigh County.
A call came in at 11:15 p.m. to report a fire at the Helfrich Springs Apartments on Mickley Road. The two-alarm fire was mostly out by 1:00 a.m. but officially under control at 6:00 a.m.
The apartment complex has 306 apartments, but only three buildings were affected by the fire.
The RedCross is assisting 21 displaced residents. No injuries were reported.
