Steven J. McClane, MD, FACS, FACRS
Dr. McClane specializes in colorectal surgery and colorectal cancer surgery as well as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Dr. McClane performs laparoscopic surgery for IBD, diverticulitis, colorectal cancer, and colorectal polyps. Dr. McClane has significant experience in the surgical management of IBD, particularly, anorectal Crohns’ disease.
Dr. McClane received his medical degree from Cornell Medical College, New York, NY. He completed a general surgical residency at the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. McClane was a fellow at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, where he specialized in colon and rectal surgery. He is a Diplomate with the National Board of Medical Examiners and a fellow with the American College of Surgeons as well as the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation as well as the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
