Body Found in Car Outside Salvation Army, Driven to Crozer-Chester Hospital Parking Lot

Crews investigated the parking lot of a Delaware County hospital after a body was found in a parked car.

Police could be seen responding to the lot at the Crozer-Chester Medical Center along Medical Center Boulevard in Upland Township, Pennsylvania where the woman's body was found around 7:30 a.m.

It turns out the woman was sleeping in a car outside the Chester city Salvation Army when the car's owner -- who let her stay in the car -- came out and found her not breathing, said Upland Police.

The car owner then drove the woman to the hospital where the woman was pronounced dead, said police.

Besides the woman's body, investigators found drug paraphernalia in the car.

No word yet on how the woman died.

Chester Police continued to investigate Friday.
