Westbrook's Prognosis "Excellent"
No word on if he'll return to the field

Injured Eagles running back Brian Westbrook is expected to make a "full recovery" from his second concussion of the season.
In a statement released late Wednesday, sports concussion specialists from the University of Pittsburg Medical Center said No. 36 improved significantly over the last three days. The doctors used a series of mental and physical tests to measure the running back's recovery -- the results of which were "favorable."
"We developed a comprehensive physical rehab plan for Brian, and we will repeat the detailed testing in the next two to three weeks,” Drs. Joseph Maroon and Michael Collins said.
The Birds' star player jetted across the state earlier this week to visit UPMC's Sports Medicine Concussion Program, which is the first of its kind in the nation.
Westbrook earned his latest concussion after a hit during the team's game against the San Diego Chargers on Nov. 15. Earlier in the season, he sat on the sidelines for two weeks after getting injured during the Oct. 26 game against the Washington Redskins.
There is still no word on whether Westbrook will be able to return to the field this season or ever.
