A woman was found dead in an apartment closet at a Fairmount high-rise on Tuesday, police said.
The discovery was made around 11 a.m. in an apartment at The Philadelphian on the Parkway at 2401 Pennsylvania Avenue, just across from the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia Police said.
Police say the woman was 47-years-old and that she was pronounced dead at 11:11 a.m.
Detectives tell NBC10.com there were no obvious signs of trauma on the woman's body. An official cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Medical Examiner.
The death remains under investigation.
