Small Fire on Plane at Philly Airport

Firefighters contained a minor fire on a small plane at the Philadelphia International Airport Saturday morning.

Crews got the blaze under control around 8:45 a.m. and there are no reported injuries.

The airport's twitter account reported a ground stop, which prevents any planes from departing, until 9:15 a.m.

At least three arrivals and eight departures were running behind schedule.

The snow storm that began Thursday and continued through Friday morning caused delays and schedule changes for PHL.

Travelers can check their flight's status on the airport's website.
