Robbers Steal Gifts From Under Christmas Tree

Three teens brazenly entered a home early Christmas morning and stole gifts from under a family's Christmas tree.

A 17-year-old boy from Pemberton Township, 19-year-old Eric Conover of Pemberton Borough and 18-year-old Corey Morgan of Pemberton Township confessed to the residential burglary, according to police.

Anticipating the arrival of her holiday guests, a Pemberton Township resident unlocked her door around 6 a.m. Wednesday and then headed to her backyard to smoke a cigarette.

Police say that's when the three teens entered the home on the 400 block of Colorado Trail and took presents - many of which were for a 7-year-old girl- from under the Christmas tree.

The victim heard the commotion inside and returned to discovery the theft in progress, according to officials.

Officials say she chased the three suspects down the street and was able to obtain vehicle information to give police.

The description led officers to the three suspects, who also confessed to burglarizing a motor vehicle on Colorado Trail.

Police say nothing was missing from the car, but the glove compartment and center console were emptied out onto the front seat.

The juvenile has been released to his parents, while Moran and Conover are being held on bail.
