A pizza deliveryman was struck by a hit-and-run driver in North Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon, now police hope surveillance video will lead them to the person responsible.

It happened along Whitaker Avenue and Wyoming Street around 4:30 p.m.

Lou Andro was struck while working for Wyoming Pizza. The driver fled the scene.

Andro was taken to Temple University Hospital with severe head trauma and internal injuries.

Police say they are looking for a black sedan with front end damage and maybe right passenger side damage.
