A pharmacy delivery driver has been rushed to the hospital by police after being shot in North Philadelphia.
The shooting took place outside the Wellness Pharmacy along the 2300 block of Ridge Avenue around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Philadelphia Police said.
The driver was shot in the right index finger. Officers arriving on scene took the man directly to a nearby hospital where he is listed in stable condition, officials said.
The motive is currently unclear. Officers are working to determine if anything was stolen.
The suspect is described as a man, between 20 and 25-years-old, wearing all black clothing.
