Crews worked through the morning to fix a water main break that broke overnight on a busy Philadelphia street.
SkyForce10 hovered overhead around 5:30 a.m. of Ridge Avenue at Green Lane.
Traffic in the area was diverted onto Henry Avenue as crews worked on a large hole in the roadway in an attempt to patch the 6-inch main.
Some area customers lost water service, said Philadelphia Water Department spokeswoman Laura Copeland.
Repairs were made and service restored by 7 a.m., Copeland said.
Crews remained on the scene, though, limiting traffic in both directions as they worked to fix other infrastructure. Copeland said the Water Department hopes to complete that work by week's end.
