There was a special guest at Temple's annual Cherry & White game this year: Leah Still.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still and his daughter were in attendance for the Owls' spring game at Chodoff Field at Edberg Olson Hall.

Leah was the guest of honor and conducted the coin toss. In March, Devon announced his four-year-old daughter's cancer was in remission.

"She's doing really well," Still said. "She's doing really well since she's been in remission. She's had a few treatments, and we have a big one coming up May 5 where she's going to be in the hospital for six weeks doing her stem cell transplant and hopefully that's the last big hump we have to get over and she can just be a normal kid again."

And even better? Leah took a screen pass 45 yards for the best touchdown we'll see this year with the entire Temple football team and Hooter the Owl running with her.

"She loves playing football," Still said of his daughter. "Me and her play football a lot when we're by ourselves. But for her to be able to do it on a football field with a whole team running and blocking for her, I know she enjoyed that. She learns pretty well. She looks pretty athletic, she even surprised me with how fast she was running."
