A 2-year-old girl has drowned after she was found in her grandparents' swimming pool after briefly wandering away.
Crawford County Coroner Scott Schell has not immediately released the name of the girl who died Saturday afternoon at Meadville Medical Center in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
Schell says the girl was visiting her grandparents in Springboro when she briefly wandered away about 3:30 p.m. She was found unresponsive in the family's above-ground pool a short time later.
The girl's death has been ruled an accident.
