Delaware State Police Seize 2,765 Bags of Heroin

The Delaware State Police Sussex County Governorโ€™s Task Force arrested a man and confiscated 2,765 bags of heroin with other drugs and weapons Thursday.

Leondre M. Williams was arrested after a month-long investigation into illegal drug sales, according to Delaware State Police.

In a search of Williams' apartment on North Porter Street, detectives found the bags of heroin weighing in at 41.475 grams, 3.82 grams of marijuana, over $8,830 in suspected drug proceeds, and a loaded .357 caliber revolver. The revolver was reported stolen from the Wicomico County Sheriffโ€™s Office in 2015.

Williams was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of a deadly weapon among many other charges.

He was also found to be wanted out of Seaford Police Department for reckless endangering and offensive touching as well as six outstanding warrants out of Sussex County Court of Common Pleas, according to Delaware State Police.
