A reward is being offered to anyone with information on the person responsible for burning and killing a dog in Chester County.
The burned remains of the Yorkie Poodle Mix were found in three plastic bags on the 300 block of Coates Street in Coatesville around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday. Firefighters made the gruesome discovery after responding to a trash fire.
Investigators believe the dog died of asphyxiation and was then burned. The owner, Aigner Brown, spoke during a press conference today. Brown said the dog was named Prince Wooga Wooga Brown and was 4 ยฝ years old. She also says the dog was a graduation present for her daughter several years ago. Brown claims she was out of town on Friday when the dog somehow got out of the house which was having work done. The dog was found dead the next day.
