With job losses and difficult financial times many folks have to go without things their children need. But, medical insurance shouldn’t be one of them.

In Pennsylvania there’s the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) that will cover ALL kids. All uninsured kids and teens up to age 19 are eligible to apply. And, no family makes too much money to qualify.

There are no income limits and, for many, CHIP is free. Those with higher incomes will pay a low monthly premium, but usually the program is based on a sliding scale to match what you can afford.
