Measles Case at Princeton University Confirmed

A suspected case of measles at Princeton University has been confirmed. The Department of Health made the announcement Monday. It's the second confirmed case of measles in New Jersey in 2015.

"The undergraduate student has recovered and is no longer infectious," a Health Department spokeswoman wrote. "No secondary cases have been identified at this time."

Princeton University and the Princeton Health Department are monitoring individuals who were potentially exposed to the student. There is no identified connection between the Princeton case and the measles outbreak at Disneyland in California or the measles case in Hudson County, New Jersey, according to officials.
