"All I want is to find the person that shot them."

That's the plea of a Kensington woman searching for justice.

Both her son and her 17-year-old brother were hospitalized Monday afternoon after being shot while hanging out in a Kensington lot.

The child -- who is just days short of his second birthday --  was staying with his grandmother when he and his uncle were approached by a van full of four men a little after 4 p.m. on the 2100 block of E Orleans Street in Kensington, according to Philadelphia Police.

"I was in the house with my newborn and I came out and they were shooting at my family," said the boy's mother.

The men in the van had at least three guns when they allegedly opened fire, police said.

The toddler was hit in the shoulder and taken to St. Christopher's Hospital. He has a broken collarbone but is expected to be okay, according to the boy's mother.

The teen was shot in the head and taken to Temple Hospital in extremely critical condition, cops said.

The gandmother wasn't injured.

Two stray bullets also hit a nearby home.

A motive for the shooting wasn't clear.

There is no description of the alleged assailants but it is believed that they fled in a dark-colored Honda Odyssey minivan with Pa. tags with the last four digits of 1194, according to cops.

Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to contact Philadelphia Police at 215-686-3280.
