Amtrak Train Loses Power Stranding Passengers in Cold

A Harrisburg-bound Amtrak train lost power near Lancaster, leaving passengers stranded without heat or light for more than an hour.

The Keystone Service Train 671 broke down around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, about an hour after it was scheduled to arrive in the Pennsylvania capital.

Amtrak sent another train to pick up the passengers and complete the trip. The railroad's website says the train finally arrived in Harrisburg around 2:15 a.m.
