Free Beer Night in Philly

Yuengling celebrates new milestone by buying folks in the City of Brotherly Love a lager

Here’s to you, Philly.

That’s what Pottsville, Pa.-based Yuengling is saying Friday night as they buy people around the City of Brotherly Love and surrounding suburbs a lager.

The 6:30 p.m. toast is in honor of Yuengling being named the largest American-owned brewery. Participating bars will give patrons -- 21-and-over of course -- a coupon for a free brew from America’s oldest brewery.

Beers will be handed out around 6:20 p.m.

From Nick’s Roast Beef in South Philly to Tony’s Place in North Philly to McMenamin’s in Mt. Airy to Chap’s Tap Room in Norristown more than 250 bars in total will be participating. Click here for a full list and enjoy the free brew.

And for a special treat head to Chickie's and Pete's by the Sports Complex as brewery manager & daughter of fifth-generation brewer Dick Yuengling Jennifer Yuengling raises a glass to Philly.
