Eat Dinner at Supper for Less

The South Street restaurant introduces a new prix fixe menu.

In order to encourage economy-anxious diners to go out for dinner during the week, Supper, the aptly named restaurant on South Street that has earned rave reviews from both Philly Mag and the Inquirer, is launching a three course $35 prix fixe menu, available Monday through Friday.

The "Weeknight Supper" features two options for each course and the $35 price tag also includes either a glass of wine or a craft brew. The menu will change, but right now choose between carrot and orange soup with coconut marshmallow and mint, or Boston bibb salad with bacon and buttermilk dressing for a first course; roasted chicken breast with garlic and biscuits, or chili-dusted skate for an entree; and for dessert, just try to pick between strawberry-rhubarb tart and banana bread pudding. Go ahead, we dare you.

If weekday dining isn't your thing, check out the restaurant's monthly Sunday Suppers, where guests pay $38 for a three course family-style meal and are permitted to BYOB or purchase select bottles of wine from Supper's list.
